These are screen grabs of my DPS to show the gradual construction of my product. I have changed it over time so that it looks more professional.

Half Done DPS |
This shows the completed first page of my double page spread as it has an image of the model naturally playing in some leaves and then has a banner with a quote inside. I think this looks professional but the image could be changed so that her hand is less blurred. Overall I think this is an effective piece as it uses two of the three colour palette, black and white. I did it like this so it looked good but not too busy and the banner splits the page up a bit so it's not plain like other magazines.

Complete Article |
This shows the completed article without the image but the two pages have been split and aren't yet complete. I have used the three colour palette once again for the house style to show that its all one magazine, I think the colours contrast well and I have chose the image for this page but I think the text may need to be made a bit smaller so that the image fits on without being pixelated.
This draft shows the almost completed DPS with the three colour palette from the previous pages and the full article I had written before. I think that the right hand page looks a bit boring at the moment but I am intending on putting another image of the model so that it looks less plain. I used the white background on the second page so that it doesn't look too over done and busy, and also because the contents page is on a white background and this makes it obvious that it is from the same magazine.
This is the completed product and I think that overall it looks professional and would catch the readers attention. I am planning on putting the page number on the right hand side page so that it is actually like a proper magazine like Kerrang!. I think that the colours contrast so the text stands out more and with the images locations it looks quite natural but like actual photography, and the images aren't too overstretched. I think that the banner on the left hand page looks good as it splits it up and looks less boring but if I was to do this again then I would put quotes inbetween the interview parts so its a bit split up.
