I have chose this image because it is in the right angle and layout for the DPS. I think that this would suit the article page because it fits just above the writing and it shows the naturality behind all artists and also it shows the stereotypical pose, clothing and make-up. I thought that this would be an interesting shot as the model is sat in a pile of leaves and looking down with black eyeliner on and skinny jeans. I thought that if I used this then it would be more effective and well suited to the genre. I chose this because it makes the model look mysterious and like there is a story behind her sadness and a story behind her life. I think that it would catch the attention and make them want to keep reading.

I chose this as the full page spread image because I didn't think anyone else would think of an idea like this and I think it looks artistic and creative. I chose this because it shows the model clearly and it was just an unusual way in which a rock model would pose but at the same time it is effective and would attract the audience to her because she is different to all the other models you see on a double page spread. I chose this mainly because it was unique and I thought it looked 'rock-chick' but also natural.
