How did you represent social groups?




Above I have created this video in order to answer the question two evaluation. The video shows the general outline and stereotypical view of alternatives, emos, and scene kids. I have tried to replica this in my own product. The video includes text, images and un-copyrighted music of artists that are associated with the genre I was reflecting. The main stereotype of the social groups I have shown is the clothing, and passion for music. To show all this I had created a polyvore image which is also in the video and also I have used google images to show the stereotypical view of emos and scene kids, often referred to as alternatives. Emos stands for 'emotion' therefore the music in their opinion is showing their emotions and I had show this by putting in their genre of music in the video. This is how I tried to represent the social groups in my product.
